French Black Metal Act AODON Signs with Transcending Obscurity Records, Announces New Album 'Khamsin'

French black metal entity Aodon has officially partnered with Transcending Obscurity Records to release their upcoming fourth full-length album, "Khamsin". Scheduled for release on November 27th, 2026, the album promises to showcase the band's most refined, intense, and emotionally driven material to date.

Over the years, Aodon has continuously expanded their sonic landscape. On "Khamsin", the band delivers a seamless synthesis of aggressive black metal, captivating melodies, ambient atmospheres, and raw melancholia. Rather than relying on a static formula, each track dynamically shifts to reflect themes of internal turmoil, anguish, and moments of triumphant resolution.

Fans can already stream two preview tracks from the album on the official Transcending Obscurity Bandcamp page.

Album Highlights & Lineup Details

"Khamsin" features striking visual artwork by Alex Eckman-Lawn (Replicant), which perfectly complements the album's intricate, multi-layered emotional atmosphere.
