Crow Mayhem - Tears From Nowhere (feat. Nick Holmes & Dirk Verbeuren) Lyric Video

"Tears From Nowhere," the stellar second single from Crow Mayhem's debut album, "Chaos Divine”, features Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath) lending his most haunting vocals and Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) again on the relentless drums.

This track weaves together extreme blast beats and grandiose melodies, epitomising every facet of Laurent M. Blast’s musical craft. While the unmistakable influence of Paradise Lost permeates the soundscape, it amalgamates seamlessly with a contemporary, more aggressive edge. The grand finale serves as a poignant farewell to both the single and the album, marking it as the closing piece.

Lyrically, the song delves into the timeless concept: "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in." Simplified, it echoes the thematic thread of the film Gladiator, where Joaquin Phoenix's character grapples with the unattainable expectations set by his father. A journey marked by fleeting greatness veering towards an inevitable descent into oblivion.

The album "Chaos Divine" will be available on February 16, 2024, on M&O Music.
