Blood Druid – Brutality, Groove and No Unnecessary Complications

Coming straight out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Blood Druid keeps their approach refreshingly simple: hard-hitting songs, crushing brutality and plenty of groove—no unnecessary complications — just heavy music designed to hit immediately.

The band's sound puts brutality and groove at the centre of everything. Their songs carry enough weight to satisfy listeners looking for something punishing, but an infectious quality also runs underneath all that aggression. The kind of groove that sticks in your head long after the track has ended.

Blood Druid don't seem particularly interested in overcomplicating the formula, and that's part of the appeal. Heavy riffs, direct songwriting and memorable rhythmic hooks do most of the talking.

For listeners who like their metal straightforward, brutal and ridiculously groovy, Blood Druid are a name worth checking out from the Michigan underground.
