Saint Mortal - In Nature´s Arms (Music Video)

Gothic Grandeur: SAINT MORTAL Embraces Mythology with "In Nature's Arms"

Hailing from the Czech Republic, SAINT MORTAL is proving that the spirit of classic Gothic Metal is alive and thriving. Formed in the spring of 2022, the band quickly established a sound rich in atmosphere, emotion, and metallic heft. Following the completion of their 2024 debut EP, Return of Myth, the band has now unveiled the official music video for the powerful single, "In Nature's Arms" (Released August 2025).

The Sound: Atmospheric Power and Profound Themes

"In Nature's Arms" is a definitive statement of SAINT MORTAL’s musical identity. The track successfully merges atmospheric sound with emotional lyrics while maintaining a heavier metal style. It’s a composition designed to evoke introspection and scale.

The song’s themes are deeply philosophical and rooted in folklore:

"The song is inspired by mythology, the idea of soul reincarnation, and the power of nature, which shapes and influences human beings."

This depth is fully realised by the band's extensive, talented lineup, notably featuring three distinct vocalists—Míra Kočík, Lucie Trunečková, and Tereza Dvořáčková—allowing for rich, dramatic operatic and harsh vocal interplay essential to the Gothic Metal tradition. The sound is further enriched by dedicated violinists, Hana Němcová and Anna Pavlů, whose contributions add a symphonic grandeur to the guitars (Ondra Hýbl, Aleš Ax) and rhythm section.

The track was expertly Mixed & Mastered by David Spilka, ensuring a professional and commanding final product.

The Visual Journey

The emotional weight of the song is beautifully supported by the official music video. The band chose to film on location in the stunning natural landscapes of Northern Moravia and the Jeseníky Mountains. Captured by GRIZZLY SHINE, the visuals underscore the central theme of nature’s overwhelming power and beauty.

"In Nature's Arms" is essential viewing and listening for anyone who appreciates the dramatic scope and melodic power of bands like early Paradise Lost, Theatre of Tragedy, or Tiamat. SAINT MORTAL is carrying the torch of Czech Gothic Metal into a new era.
