Formed in New York, USA, Wicked Maraya is FALCO (vocals), John Iadevaio (bass), Michael Iadevaio (guitar), Dan Malsch (guitar), & Rob Liano (drums). With a sound located somewhere between Queensrÿche, Crimson Glory and Savatage, the group’s Debut Album ‘Cycles’ was an impressive example of modern progressive metal. ‘Cycles’ boasted intelligent, subtle songwriting, and a fine production gloss courtesy of Jim Morris (Savatage and Crimson Glory). A European Tour with Metal Church in 1994 was a great success, as were following tours through 1998 with Yngwie Malmsteen, Dee Snider, and Skyclad. Wicked Maraya also supported such Acts as RATT, Great White, Dokken & Overkill. ‘No Hope for Humanity..?’ was released in 1996, ‘Counterculture’ in 1998, and the unearthed 1991 CD ‘Lifetime in Hell’ was released in 2015, along with 2 new songs. 2023: Wicked Maraya is BACK with a NEW EP & Video for the Song ‘Chapter V’.
