From Mumbai, India, BIOPSY are shaking up the place with their impeccable brand of brutal death metal. Inspired by the genre’s greats like SUFFOCATION, DISGORGE, GORGASM and DEVOURMENT, these guys are leaving no stone unturned in making their idols proud. Sounding thick and juicy, they are going straight for the jugular, elevating the standards of the scene where this niche style is concerned. The underground is rising and under the tutelage of Transcending Obscurity, the group hopes to reach out to the fans of the style around the world. Five songs represent the band’s ambitions of perhaps at least being considered as one of the nation’s better death metal acts even if the band members have now drifted apart physically although BIOPSY are very much alive and eager to please.
