Squidhammer has been hard at work on a first-of-its-kind Wisconsin vocalist collab album called ‘Hail The Squid’. This project consists of 12 songs which are to be co-written and performed by our vocalist, Ericka, along with some of Wisconsin’s most cherished metal vocalists who have all played a key part in helping to make a bigger, better name for Squidhammer. This release, ‘Hamrammr’, is the first of many new songs that are currently ready for release. It features shared vocal duties with Marq Pointer of WI heavy metal band H1Z1. Marq and H1Z1 have put in tons of work for the whole Wisconsin metal scene over the years and we couldn’t be happier with this collab! Upcoming monthly releases will feature collaborations with other great Wisconsin metal vocalists from bands such as Micawber, Toxic Ruin, Revolution-X, Casket Robbery, and many more! We aim to show the country, and hopefully, the world, just what the Wisconsin metal scene has to offer! ‘Damned, Jaded, and Doomed’ is the 3rd collab release from Squidhammer’s “Hail The Squid” series, a showcase of Wisconsin’s beautiful metal scene. This tune features vocal performances by Stephen Behrendt of Toxic Ruin (M-Theory Audio) and Leighton Thompson of Micawber (Prosthetic Records). Our own Ericka Nightmare jumps in on the chorus and a few other verses.
