You need not introduce the legendary band SHINING meanwhile anymore. “ 8 ½ – Feberdrömmar I Vaket Tillständ“ is their latest opus which is distributed via Dark Essence Records / Karisma Records.
Niklas Kvarforth also presents here heavy, withdrawn food which seems to be light years away from the original Black Metal. There were re-recorded six old SHINING songs of the “Livets Andhallplats“ and “Angst“ time with six different vocalists inclusive Mister Kvaforth himself (at “Through Corridors Of Oppression“) in order that it is here rather a step down the bands’ memory lane. But, this step was definitely worth while. With improved guitar runs which have in the year 2013 essential more punch and more forceful bas-lines the songs receive more hardness and profundity. Thereby the original rawness and nativeness of the single songs were maintained. For some it may be disdainful rip-off for the others it is an intense journey into the old times in the year 2013. Deceide yourselves and open yourselves to “ 8 ½ – Feberdrömmar I Vaket Tillständ“. It’s worth it!!!!
