Orcus O Dis Published A New Lyric Video For “Burn In Hell”

Blending mythology with modern-day issues, Orcus O Dis takes a different approach to Melodic Death Metal incorporating elements from their indigenous roots hailing from Mexico.

In 2005, the band was part of a compilation album titled “JuariTODOS CONTRA LA VIOLENCIA” (Juarez Against Violence).

The first EP Novus Orsa was released in 2008. This EP included 5 songs, sang mostly in Spanish.

In 2009, the band won Wacken Open Air’s Metal Battle competition in Mexico earning a spot in 2010’s Wacken Open Air festival.

In 2010, Orcus O Dis played Wacken Open Air’s Metal Battle stage in Wacken, Germany earning 4th place.

The first full-length album was released in 2013 titled Ix, after the Maya moon goddess. It included 9 songs, including the Singles Inmisericorde¸ and Mictlan.

In 2014, Orcus O Dis toured in the Until the Thrash Takes Us Mexico tour supporting Havok in 11 cities.

In 2016, the single Embodying My Misery is released along with a lyric video.

The single Void Delusion was released in 2018. The band also participated in 2018’s Metal Days Festival in Slovenia on the New Forces Stage.

In 2019, the band returned to Slovenia for the Metal Days Festival, as well as the Void of Misery headlining mini-tour in Poland, and a Mini Tour in Mexico supporting Kalmah.

New EP Post Mortem coming in July 1st, 2022.
