British death metal band Memoriam have announced that they are coming to an end. Their sixth and final studio album, Endgame, will be released on January 29, 2027, through Reaper Entertainment.

Based in Birmingham, England, Memoriam feature a lineup familiar to death metal fans. The band includes vocalist Karl Willetts, formerly of Bolt Thrower; bassist Frank Healy of Benediction and Cerebral Fix; guitarist Scott Fairfax, also of Cerebral Fix; and drummer Dirk Verbeuren, known for his work with Megadeth and Soilwork.

The band have also released the first track from the upcoming album. “Nothing More To Say,” the opening song on Endgame, is accompanied by a lyric video. The title carries particular significance for a farewell record. Willetts explained that knowing this would be the band's final album gave the song's title a deeper meaning. He also shared that Memoriam had given him an outlet to express anger, grief, and hope through music, thanking everyone who had supported the band over the years.

Formed in 2016 out of friendship, remembrance, and a desire to make music again, Memoriam have built a distinct identity across five previous albums. Their sound combines crushing heaviness with political awareness and an uncompromising attitude.

Endgame continues to explore themes that have long been central to the band's work, including war, political manipulation, social division, environmental collapse, and humanity's failure to learn from history. This time, mortality and the idea of an ending also take on greater significance.

The album continues two longstanding collaborations. Russ Russell returns to handle production, while the cover artwork comes from legendary illustrator Dan Seagrave.

Endgame will be available on CD and digital platforms, as well as on vinyl in standard and limited collector's editions.
