About Death Has Spoken

Hailing from Białystok/Warsaw, Poland, Death Has Spoken has been carving its path through the dark landscapes of death-doom since 2017. What began as a one-off studio project quickly evolved into a full band with the release of their debut album, Fade, which set the tone for their sorrow-drenched and heavy sound.

Drawing inspiration from pioneers like Swallow the Sun, My Dying Bride, Katatonia (early), October Tide, and Paradise Lost, the band weaves melancholic melodies with crushing riffs, echoing despair, mortality, and the haunting question of what lies beyond.

Over the years, Death Has Spoken has continued to evolve with notable releases such as the split EP Unyielding (2020), the Lovecraftian-inspired full-length Call of the Abyss (2021), and the synthwave-infused experiment Doomed to Gloom (2023). Their third full-length, Elegy (2025), marks the culmination of their artistic journey, tying together themes of loss, death, and transcendence into a more refined and darker sound.

Their latest track, “Through Shaded Ways”, offers a glimpse into this new chapter — a hypnotic blend of death-doom heaviness and haunting melodies that serves as both a reflection and an invitation to traverse the labyrinth of inner darkness.
