US Death/Doom Metal Entity BESOTTEN Reveals New Track "Eye of the Monolithicrypt" Off Debut Full-Length Album

Crushing, Vile, and Nuanced Death/Doom Crafted by Veterans of Extreme Metal
US-based death/doom metal outfit Besotten has premiered a new track, “Eye of the Monolithicrypt”, from their highly anticipated debut full-length album. Following a well-received demo and a split release, the band has meticulously refined their craft over the past few years to deliver a masterclass in heavy, fetid, and structured death/doom.
Premiered via No Clean Singing, the new single is described as:
"an absolute horror-show of a song, and one that turns out to be insidiously infectious"
Besotten's music strikes an exceptional balance between crushing weight and expressive nuance. Spanning five tracks—ranging from shorter, punchy numbers to sprawling epics exceeding 10 minutes—the album maintains a cohesive yet diverse sonic identity that amplifies the absolute best elements of the genre.
World-Class Production & Artistic Vision
The album’s engineering and production boast a formidable lineup of underground heavyweights. Guitar and vocal engineering, mixing, and mastering were handled by Leon Del Muerte (Impaled, Terrorizer), while drum engineering was executed by Charlie Koryn (VoidCeremony, Ascended Dead, Morbid Angel [live]).
The visual artwork, LP logo, and title design were crafted by Serus (Cancer Void), visually complementing the band’s foul and atmospheric soundscapes.
