Moonlight Haze - Tame The Storm (Music Video)

Italian melodic symphonic power metallers MOONLIGHT HAZE will release their third studio album, ‘ANIMUS’ on March 18th on Scarlet Records.

“This record represents a huge step up for Moonlight Haze’s songwriting and sound. It got each of us excited from the very first melodies and lines that were written. It’s an introspective work, but at the same time, it looks at the world outside – willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth. Hence the title, ‘Animus’, a Latin word that has different meanings: vital force, conscience, soul, mind and courage as well.”

Chiara Tricarico, frontwoman & lyricist

Recorded by Moonlight Haze and mixed & mastered by Simone Mularoni at the renowned Domination Studio, ‘Animus’ boasts the stunning performance of the vocalist Chiara Tricarico and is graced by the amazing artwork and pictures of Beatrice Demori.

Probably one of the heaviest songs ever written by the band to date. Heavy guitar riffs, powerful rhythms and a unique mix of different vocal styles, ranging from rock to operatic, are the ingredients that make “Tame the Storm” the manifesto of the new album. The lyrics talk about an inner struggle against past and present demons: a battle that can only be won by the use of inmost power and personal resolution.
