Surgent - Blood Offering (Lyric video)

This is the second single off Surgent's self-titled debut album released in November 2022.

Surgent's second video single, "Blood Offering", is inspired by Mesoamerican sacrificial rituals - the story's main character is promised godhood through a bloody ritual but realizes at the sacrificial table that his essence is insignificant despite all the promises.

"Civilizations and cultures that do not value human life, or value it destructively, as the Mesoamerican cultures did, are already doomed," stated guitarist Jaan Varts behind the lyrics.
