Sovak is an Istanbul-based productive and progressive trio made of Emre Kula, Onur Başkurt and Kerem Tüzün. Emre and Onur have been playing music together for fairly 15 years, are founding members of bands such as Kes and Helak, and recently Kerem joined them, who we know from bands like Kurban and Nekropsi. They continue to search and perform music with a leaning towards heavy music, but without any boundaries.
Midsom is a dark and atmospheric instrumental track by Sovak, a progressive rock/metal trio from Istanbul, Turkey. The band features Emre Kula (guitar), Onur Başkurt (drums), and Kerem Tüzün (bass) — three well-known musicians in the Turkish alternative scene. Rooted in Anatolian spirit but shaped by a modern prog mindset, Sovak offers a unique take on instrumental storytelling. Midsom is the band’s second single following their debut album, released last year.
