Deadnate - Neon Burner (Music Video)

ludge, Chugs, and Mind-Bending Awe: Deadnate Unleash "Neon Burner"

Get ready for an intense dose of uncompromising Progressive Metal straight from Fredericia, Denmark. DEADNATE has ignited the fire with their new single, "Neon Burner," a fierce track that leads the charge for their highly anticipated upcoming album, MOSAIC, set for release on March 27, 2026.

This is the sound of ambition realised—a track that is simple in structure but absolutely crushing in delivery.

🎧 The Relentless Sound

"Neon Burner" is built for maximum impact, embodying the heaviest elements of modern metal while hinting at the progressive journey to come on MOSAIC.

• Sludgy Assault: The track delivers a thick, heavy sound built on sludgy riffs that anchor its uncompromising heaviness.

• Non-Stop Momentum: Expect non-stop double bass drumming and a barrage of heavy chugs, creating a relentless, kinetic energy that drives the song forward.

• Intense Delivery: While the structure is straightforward, the intensity is anything but, making this an immediate mosh-pit anthem.

🌌 Blind to the Phenomenon

Lyrically, "Neon Burner" explores a fascinating and unsettling theme: humanity's failure to recognise the "mind-bending phenomena" that surround us constantly. We are often so close to awe-inspiring answers, yet remain blind, lost in a "void of illusion."

The lyrics describe this tragic disconnect:

Neon waves taint the sky / Staring down, all blind / Answers inside your hand / Awe is lost and gone

It's a chilling narrative about being pulled closer to realisation, only to lose control and become "past"—a stark warning about the consequences of intellectual and spiritual complacency.

🎥 The DIY Ambition

This single is a statement of intent for MOSAIC, which the band calls their "most uncompromising and ambitious work to date." In true metal fashion, "Neon Burner" was recorded and produced by DEADNATE themselves, showcasing their total control over their devastating sound.

The official video, filmed by Kristian Nybirk & Jeppe Østenkjær, captures the raw energy and dark atmosphere necessary to match the track's unrelenting intensity.

Get ready to lose control, let the double bass take over, and confront the "void of illusion." DEADNATE is burning bright.
