Croatian Groove Metal Outfit Sworn to Death Drops Heavy Single "Abaddon" Off New Album

Zagreb-based groove metal force Sworn to Death is turning heads across the Balkan underground scene with their crushing new record, Pillars of Morality / Ruins of a Mind. Leading the charge is their single "Abaddon," a track that reimagines biblical lore through a heavy, black metal-infused groove approach.

Formed in 2020 as a project between two guitarists, the band quickly evolved into a full-fledged quintet. After building momentum with their 2022 debut Torn and sold-out local club shows, Sworn to Death has shared stages with acts like Arises, Throattwister, and Ciconia. Today, the lineup features vocalist Jan Fabijan Tomičić, guitarists Luka Ore and Zvonimir Karanušić, bassist Kristijan Fištrek, and drummer Luana Racan.

With "Abaddon," Sworn to Death bridges the dark, melodic atmosphere of black metal with their signature groove weight—a blend designed to fuel their upcoming tour across Central Europe.
