Punishment 18 Records – 2014 (Re-Release of 2010) – Brazil
WOSLOM are one of the old hands of the Brazilian Thrash Metal. Since 1997 already active as a band their label Punishment 18 Records published in March 2014 once again their already in 2010 released cd “Time To Rise“.
WOSLOM celebrate the Thrash Metal. Old School tones which fix straight into the listeners’ auditory canal. Classical guitar solis which bring the necessary energy and speed have the necessary punch. Together with powerful bass-lines ana a little short of superhuman fast drumming the gents show here the listener who’s running the show! The snotty vocals of vocalist angd guitarist Silvano Aguillera fit in outstanding into the overall structure. The outcome are fresh, energetic songs which doesn’t sound outdated at all and which are simply thrilling. The guys have nothing unlearnt over the years and show here some whippersnappers how it is done rught. A certain affinity to MEGADETH is here indeed undeniable, but this doesn’t bother at all in my opinion. Perfectly recorded “Time To Rise“ is also worth to be listened to in 2014. Check out WOSLOM. It’s worth it!!!
