Maul is all set to drop their debut EP, “Desecration And Enchantment,” as part of their 20 Buck Spin debut on November 17. The scorching first single, “The Sacred And The Profane,” is already available for streaming.
“Desecration And Enchantment” comprises three tracks, with one exclusive to the cassette version and not accessible digitally. The EP was recorded in May 2023 at Signaturetone Recordings in Minneapolis (known for their work with Ulthar, Obsequiae, Sunless), and it was handled by Adam Tucker, who took care of the recording, mixing, and mastering. Additionally, the songs incorporate guest synth and sample contributions from Isthmus Ov Styx, and the EP features cover artwork by S. Deloria Black Wolf.
