Bulgarian “dark metal” band VELIAN has released their debut EP “Fireflies” yesterday, 29.02.2016. Their work is available in digital format at Bandcamp.com, and for free streaming at YouTube. Four original compositions are included in the EP and they all refer to one general concept.
VELIAN’s style is a mix of power and melodic death metal with a touch of gothic darkness. The band’s members are well known for their participation in popular Bulgarian underground acts such as Wartime, Progression, Hellrider and Fanagoria.
VELIAN members are: Ivan Ivanov – Vocals; Dilian Nedev – Guitars, Keys; Vasil Simeonov – Guitars; Antonio Mitov – Bass; Velizar Bolchev – Drums.
Recordings were made at the band’s own studio, production (mixing and mastering) is done by Dilian Nedev, guitar player of the band. The artwork is made by Velizar Bolchev and Ivan Maslev.
