Requiem is considered a solo-project by metal & hardcore vocalist Julie Hill. For an unique sound design Requiem is working together with producer Powernerd.
It is a song about mental health and spirituality. The inner fight between feeling anxious, hopeless, and wanting to change something. “Amor Fati” is a philosophical way of thinking, which means: take any situation how it appears, it is a way of radical (self) acceptance. Letting go of control. There are things happening out of our control, and most situations are just a chance to learn and grow.
Once you step out of your comfort zone, it will change for good. First, it feels very uncomfortable, but it will pay off, and it is just the beginning of something beautiful.
