Official Band Information
This track was my attempt to write a fictional story about a person’s mental illness continuing to get the best of them and slowly eroding their identity and self-worth.
Leading them to a darker season of life where depression strips them of any semblance of who they were made to be.
It highlights the desperation to know a life without the pain they experience on a daily basis, and how they would give anything to be free, even their own life. It concludes with the person choosing to not let their pain and depression define them. They choose to believe the truth about themselves and their value despite the struggles they are currently going through.
