Osage was written about the 1985 bombing of the MOVE compound in Philadelphia, in which police allowed a fire to destroy the entire block of Osage Ave.
It is the 3rd single from the upcoming In Name Only EP, which follows a theme of songs titled after people, places, and events in modern history that are equally tragic and intriguing.
Stylistically, the song blends progressive structures with a more traditional metalcore element.
