Mississippi Hard Rock band NVision are back with their first release of 2022. Distress is a rollercoaster ride of pure chaotic energy, merging well with the heavier metalcore sound the band is moving towards in future releases. Found in this track are a lot of NVision staples: lyrics about mental health, catchy arena choruses, and hat-tips to Hip-Hop. This track, however, introduces us to a lot of sounds not heard in NVision’s older discography such as heavy riffs, screaming main vocals, and a killer breakdown. As NVision begins this transition to a heavier sound, the qualities that make them who they remain.
