Self Released – 2011 – Bosnia and Herzagovina
This is the new life of this Melodic Death Metal band from Banja Luka/Serbian Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this EP are 6 songs from which 2 are re-recorded and 4 songs are new. This band plays Melodic Death Metal in the vein of Amon Amarth and In Flames (old). So as you can see, they are fans of the Swedish Death Metal School. The two older songs are “Ignored” and “North” which are available on youtube to listen too for some years now in their old version and now they got a better production. These two songs haven’t changed during the time since then. The 4 new songs are the logical sequins to these 2 songs. Over the years, their style hasn’t changed so their fans from back then will like the new songs too. The newer songs are very fast and at some times not so much melodical as it are the case with the two bands I mentioned above, but this are just temporary. After an attack in full speed to the ears of the listeners, sound the band surprises the listeners with some melodical parts to relax him/her a bit. A nice approach to the Melodic Death Metal style. “Seven years of affliction” is a perfect example for this. On the other site, “Rhapsody in depression” is a song made in the best Amon Amarth vein. With this release, this band can proudly stand and they are a pretty good example that their country has some good Metal music to offer to the rest of the world.
