Undercover Records -2013 -Germany
This is the new album from the duo Morrigan and I must say that I somehow like and somehow don’t like. Why do I like? Because it sounds like Bathory in their best time from “Twilight of the Gods” and “Hammerheart”, but on the other side I don’t like it because it goes a bit way too much into that direction without some own elements on it that give to it a certain something. The vocals here on it remind me sometimes of Quorthon from the era of those two albums and sometimes of him during the time of his previous albums. Unfortunately, he did it better and this singer can’t do it so good.
