Paragon Records – 2013 – Serbia
The duo KOZELJNIK are from Serbia. This year they released their latest EP “Null:The Acheron Of Multiform Negation“ via Paragon Records.
Here is celebrated Black Metal with Doom Metal. Halting riffs in the mid tempo area mingle with BlackMetal tones to a very gloomy, melancholic mixture. The always present, but not overlaying drumming gives the production the necessary hardness. All in all this results in a very arbitrary musical mixture which renders pain, depression and hate audible. The emphatic vocals which are ear-piercing do one last thing! Thereby KOZELJNIK always remain dark and happy to try out new things. Parallels to bands like ARCTURUS are quite audible. The band however finds it very own musical style without thereby copying too much. Very technical recorded I can only reommend “Null:The Acheron Of Multiform Negation“! The album offers everything a modern Black Metal cd requires and will surely please many Black Metal fans!!!
