Infested Angel – Euphony of Dismay (Official Video)

The song “Euphony of Dismay” deals with a chaotic personal reflection on experiencing suicidal depression. It is a brutal melodic journey on guitar, punctuated with violent drumming that is cathartic for listeners who experience similar struggles. This single is part of the band’s upcoming opus, “Threnodies of Eternal Despair,” set to be released through Art Gates Records on January 17, 2025.

Stephen Midgley recorded the video from Break Point Media at Robannas Studios, Birmingham.
The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Greg Chandler at Priory Recording Studios, Sutton Coldfield.

Infested Angel is a blastbeat-driven death metal band originating from Birmingham, England. Their music presents a misery-infused wall of sound coupled with inhuman guttural vocals and ethereal wails. The band formed in 2019 and has honed their craft, overpowering audiences around the UK with sheer death metal force ever since. Their intensity is twinned with a dense, vibrant melodic sensibility that, along with their lyrics, has been charging depictions of tragedy, loss, and existential suffering straight to the hearts of the listeners that have been subject to their inimitable style.

The band has self-released two uncompromising EPs—2020’s ‘Nourish Me, Satan’ and 2022’s ‘Submit to Death,’ both of which have been warmly received internationally. In late 2023, the band recorded their first full-length debut album, plumbing new depths of musical darkness that they are now on the verge of sharing with the world. Now in partnership with Art Gates Records, the band is set to unleash this latest offering and is committed to bringing their music to new horizons.

Infested Angel may be the heaviest duo currently in existence, creating a sonic storm like no other. The lineup of the band consists of Andrew (AKA Mick) on guitar and vocals and Pat on drums.
