Heliocentric – Antithesis

Heliocentric was born out of one man’s desire to put to sound some of the most visceral chapters in the history of religion. At nineteen, Jared Smith began writing and recording metal riffs and vocal tracks as a solo act. Taking cues from heavy metal extremists such as Meshuggah and Silent Planet and combining them with pensive, atmospheric elements, Heliocentric delivers a musical soundscape that is both bone-breaking in its brutality and blissfully Edenic in its serenity.
