Personally, I was never a fan of Hecate Enthroned since they were too much of a copy of Cradle Of Filth and my opinion about them hasn’t changed even with this album becausetheir new album proofs that again. In the year 2013, Hecate Enthroned sounds more likeold Cradle Of Filth than Cradle Of Filth itself. The music isn’t actually so bad; it remindsme very much of the music of their fellow country men and ex-band until the “Dusk And Her Embrace” album and the screams here makes my opinion about that only stronger. I don’t know why they have to do that to be a copy instead of another band. The music here is a mixture of Cradle Of Filth, Graveworm and Cryptic Wintermoon which shows that this band has some good ideas about how to make a good Symphonic Black Metal album, but when I hear the screams, I just can roll with my eyes.
