Tmina Records – 2012 – Hungary
This Hungarian band plays on their debut a mix of Death and Thrash Metal. On this album are 10 songs which go more into Death Metal than Thrash Metal, but from time to time, the Thrash metal influences take over and they give to the music a certain touch which wouldn’t be if they would play only Death Metal. When it comes to their Death Metal sound, I must say that they are influenced by the old school of Death Metal, so you won’t find here any kind of Melodic Death Metal but fans of this kind of Death Metal will also like their music. The band Death seems to have the biggest influence on this Hungarian band, specially the last two albums from them. The only negative side of this one is maybe that this album could use a bit more diversity. Their mix sounds very good, but this way it sounds sometimes like one long song. Nether less, if you take the songs from this album separately, one can say that they are great. But this is not a big problem in my opinion since this is their debut album.
