Cytotoxin
German death metallers CYTOTOXIN have inked a multi-album deal with Unique Leader Records. The band’s second album, “Radiophobia”, will be released on November 6. The CD was recorded at Kohlekeller Studios (BENIGHTED, POWERWOLF) in Seeheim, Germany.
The Chernobyl disaster was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred on April 26, 1986 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Inspired by this catastrophe and its consequences, a highly radiated newcomer band called CYTOTOXIN simply pulverized the German brutal death metal underground in 2010. Always on an exalted technical level but still keeping one eye on songwriting and heavy, pounding neck-breaker riffs, they formed a deadly mixture. Combined with unique and bulldozing live performances, their fan base increased rapidly.
CYTOTOXIN’s full-length debut, “Plutonium Heaven”, was released in April 2011.
