Bleak Art Records – 2010 – Canada
Canadian black metal, one must ask themselves, is the only way to write truly evil black metal in less than 30 degree weather? just fuckin around but it seems that really good black metal bands are from cold areas-what is that about? Anywayz, Artep’s debut release on Bleak Art Recs. contains eight songs of pure evil, done in the vein of Dimmu Borgir-killer synths, riffing on ‘the Antichrist’ awesome. Artep’s look is inspired by ghouls from hell-love it! they currently have a video in the making, I can’t wait to see the finished product. Artep is what black metal is all about, so chek um out.
