WARTIME ''Solar Messiah'' (09.01.2013)

Self-released - 2012 - Bulgaria

I can’t tell you much about this Bulgarian Thrash/Death Metal band. This is the first album that I heard from them so far and I must say that it sounds interesting. Some of the elements here remind me of Running Wild and Suidakra from their “Command to Charge” time. The music is OK, but the vocals are no the best that I heard and from time to time it seems to me that the singer doesn’t know what to do next. OK, he does a good job with the vocals and he showed to us that he can sing, but he shouldn’t change it too much. Like I said, I don’t have any problems with the music since it is done very well. There are some of the best riffs here on this album that I ever heard and that it was makes this album very good. The 11 songs that are here on this album sound all very interesting and you can hear in them different elements that make this album how it is.

7/10
