LOST IN ALASKA ''Zodiac'' (28.06.2011)

Head X Plode/MSR Distro - 2010 - Russia

I realized that I prepared so much reviews for Russian bands, no matter which kind of music they are doing. Yes, again a Russian band called "Lost In Alaska". They have got different genre of music, when they compares to other Russian bands that I prepared reviews for.

I can say deathcore for Lost In Alaska's genre, but they used really heavy sound, almost like brutal death metal. Production is fascinating...

They added core effects to "animal" death metal songs, made them more melodic, fun to listen, real brutal stuff. Songs are technic and variable, real fun to follow the traffics of the songs. Drummer did great in this situation.

Not like gnarled core bands. I can suggest them for the death metal listeners and the people who want to listen deathcore with more brutal sound. So successful.
