 Abyss Records - 2010 - Sweden
Wan is a three man band formed in 2009 in Sweden. Very old school feel, black metal/thrash in the vein of Bathory/old Celtic Frost & some of the rawness of Dark Throne thrown into the mix. The downfall of this release, which is their debut full length incorporating 14 tunez, is the programmed drums-it really does put a damper on the output of the release. Nothing really new to hear from Wan on this release it all sounds like rehashed old school metal.
