 "Simplify", the brand new video from Swedish thrashers THE LAW, can be viewed below. The clip was edited by THE LAW singer Tobias Jansson.
"Simplify" was recorded at THE LAW's own studio, Studio Bingoberra, and was mastered by Lawrence Mackory (F.K.Ü., ENEMY IS US). The track will appear on the group's upcoming EP and full-length album.
THE LAW's new EP will include two new songs plus a reworked version of the track "Distort" from the band's debut album and a few covers.

After almost 11 years, Swedish death/thrash metallers CONSTRUCDEAD have parted ways with founding guitarist Christian Ericson. A replacement axeman has not yet been announced.

 ABIGAIL WILLIAMS has completed recording of individual performances for its as-yet-untitled second album. Captured at Conquistador Studios in Cleveland, Ohio, eight new songs were laid down with vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron and engineer Cole Martinez controlling the audio takes. The tracks are currently being mixed by Peter Tägtgren (DIMMU BORGIR, IMMORTAL, CELTIC FROST) and are expected to be completed later this month.

Swedish death metallers SOULDRAINER recently entered Empire Studio to begin recording their new album for a late 2010 release. According to the band, the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2007's "Reborn" will contain 13 sogns and "will be beautiful, evil, slightly more aggressive and heavier" than its predecessor. The group adds, "Prepare for an epic death/doom album so heavy it will blow your face off."

 Sweden's WITCHERY will release a new album, "Witchkrieg", in July via Century Media Records. The CD will mark the recording debut of the band's new vocalist, Legion (MARDUK, DEVIAN).
"Witchkrieg" was mixed and mastered Antfarm studios by Tue Madsen (DARK TRANQUILLITY, THE HAUNTED, HEAVEN SHALL BURN). The cover artwork was created by Andreas "Diaz" Pettersson.
