Singaporean grind pioneers DEMISOR have officially inked a worldwide deal with Pulverised Records! Formed in 1987, the unsung DEMISOR specialize in sonic devastation with their earliest bout of buzzsaw guitar lashes and maniacal blasts appearing on their Mestectomy and Oral Climax demos released in 1990 and 1992 respectively. Today the epic DEMISOR discography includes over a dozen split releases in true grind fashion. The band is currently penning new material for the upcoming as-yet-untitled EP, which will be released later this year via Pulverised Records.
Commented DEMISOR in a collective statement: "It's an honor to work with Pulverised as we do know of their professionalism towards the core of extreme music. Pulverised indeed gave us the privilege to blast out to the masses our kind of uber obliterating grindcore! The upcoming mini-album will pummel all aspects of grind holocaust that DEMISOR has ever churned out! Be warned!"
Added Pulverised Records A&R Manager Calvin Chiang commented: "It was no coincidence that DEMISOR came to be a part of the Pulverised roster; we’ve known the guys for years and have always shown a positive interest in releasing something for them but unfortunately, the time was never right as the other members in DEMISOR were heavily involved in their other bands. Towards the end of 2011, we received news that DEMISOR is now officially back in full force and with the new EP planned and as well as a short European tour coming up, there is no other better time than now to solidify the DEMISOR/Pulverised alliance. DEMISOR 2012 will show how grind is properly done!"
In related news, the band recently announced their inclusion on this year's edition of the infamous Obscene Extreme Festival in Trutnov, Czech Republic. DEMISOR will share the stage with 69 bands including Exhumed, the reunited Nasum, Asphyx, Discharge, Poison Idea, Cephalic Carnage and many more. In conjunction with their stop at the fest, and in promotion of their upcoming EP, DEMISOR wil embark on a mini European tour. Further info to be announced soon.

Legendary Singaporean blackened warbeasts IMPIETY are set to unleash eighth studio album through Pulverised Records this May. 03. Weaponized
04. The Scourge Majesty
05. War Crowned

A one-minute teaser for "Reign Supreme", the new album from Maryland extreme metallers DYING FETUS, is available below. Due on June 17 via Relapse Records, the CD was recorded at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore with longtime producer Steve Wright (SLIPKNOT, MISERY INDEX). The effort will feature nine tracks and is "a 'return to roots,' with production focused slightly more on slam than in the band's last few works," according to a press release. "Thematically, the album is set to be a good old-fashioned piece of social and political commentary in the style of DYING FETUS as we have come to know."
Commented DYING FETUS guitarist/vocalist John Gallagher: "The last album had some groove in it, but [it] was basically a lot of tech; this one is a return to form of older DYING FETUS albums, so to speak — more modern production, though, of course. Everything's tight, the sound is crushing, the drums are amazing."

The members of sydney–based technical death metal band OUROBOROS are immensely excited to unveil the film clip for "Sanctuary", a song from their debut album Glorification of a Myth. The "Sanctuary" video was directed and edited by Paul Shedlowich of Plint Productions and was inspired by Colin Marks' Glorification of a Myth album artwork and the ancient Greek myth of Chronos devouring his children."Our aim was to create a world–class video that represented themes present in "Sanctuary" as well as the Glorification of a Myth album as a whole. This pushed us to use some risky—but ultimately effective—guerilla filmmaking tactics which took us to challenging locations amid torrential weather. Shedlowich did an incredible job of handling both the creative and administrative aspects of the production and pulled together an astoundingly talented and hard–working team of camera operators, actors, photographers, makeup artists and behind–the–scenes people to make his vision a reality. The whole Ouroboros team is thrilled with the result and we can't wait to share it with our fans." – David Horgan
