Commented ROTTING CHRIST frontman Sakis Tolis: "Dear friends, following a string of lyric videos specifically designed to illustrate tracks taken from 'Rituals', we are now presenting you the first official clip for our latest album.
"We chose to work again with the amazing Jon Simvonis, who already directed our video for the song '666'.
"The concept for this new video is based on the ritual of exorcism and connected to the idea of a soul's transition to the other side.
"We sincerely hope that you will enjoy the journey to the other bank of the river with 'Apage Satana'!"

Coldblood was forged in the underworld of Rio de Janeiro with the intention to make a sound based on the roots of Death Metal and to preach Satanic Doctrine. The first demo tape, Terror Stench, released in 1992, made the band one of the most important bands of the style in the early 90s. After a long pause due to internal problems, they got back together in 2000. Prior to that, they have released some startling death metal releases, including two full lengths. The band has shared stage with big names of the international scene, such as Mayhem, Master, Onslaught, Cannibal Corpse, Benediction, Asphyx, Funerus, Krisiun, Nervo Chaos etc. Apart from having national tours, the band undertook South American tours as well.
Right now the band is preparing the release of their third full length called Indescribable Physiognomy of the Devil. The album, which was recorded in Brazil and mixed and mastered in Germany, has 10 new songs showing Coldblood with its feet even more nailed in the roots of the 90s Death Metal, but also adding its own identity in compositions that will surprise the listeners thirsty for an obscure, chaotic and traditional Death Metal. Menacing vocal deliveries, pounding drum hammerings, sharp and thick bass lines, and continuous neck wrecking riffs together with the fiendish, transitory solos will make any death metal fans go insane.
The album will be co-released by Satanath Records & Metallic Media (USA)
The vocalist of Pyrexia has been arrested in connection with a triple murder that occurred yesterday in Morgan County, West Virginia. Erick Shute allegedly ambushed three men from the woods in Cacapon Resort State Park in West, Virginia. He was picked up eight hours later in New Jersey following a manhunt.
Shute had been involved in property disputes with the men in the past, which culminated in the reported killing. MetalSucks reports that he was enraged that the men were clearing firewood near his property.
The metal frontmans Facebook page contains survivalist and anti-government materials with an emphasis on his love for firearms.
Rock Feed has obtained a Facebook post (that was later taken down) by Erick Shute, claiming self defense shortly before his arrest.
French extreme metal quartet Backdawn recently unleashed their latest work I Shall Burn Your Empire and today the band reveal a brand new music video for the title track. Godz Ov War Productions will release the long-awaited, third album by the Mussorgski project, this time entitled Creatio Cosmicam Bestiae. The record contains eight premiere tracks which disturbingly mix alienated industrial, dark metal and cold ambient.
Both musically and lyrically wise, the new material is much different from previous accomplishments of Khorzon, primarily known from the black metal Arkona. The compositions are definitely more complex and spacious, there are more orchestrated parts that provide the tracks with a solemn yet apocalyptic atmosphere. Original melodies play an important role too, providing the whole stuff somewhat assimilable, hit nature at times. Undoubtedly, Creatio Cosmicam Bestiae is the most experimental yet the most balanced and mature Mussorgski's work. Khorzon takes us on a nearly one hour long journey to his own, inhuman world, where he tries to tame the omnipresent Chaos, to find the magic Katharsis, and to explore the nature of the Universe.
Sol Sistere is a post/atmospheric black metal act from Santiago, Chile formed in early 2013, but all members have gathered their experiences before joining their forces, in acts as Animus Mortis, Bauda and other underground names. So it is a new band, but an experienced force Their music is a blend of strength, melancholic melodies and emotions, which gathers influences from 90s classic black metal bands and modern atmospheric innovators in order to create such an atmosphere that will embrace most of black metal enthusiasts. And it is recorded raw enough, but still full of a lot of details

I am extremely excited for the release of The Grey Eminence. I feel that this album is one of the best things that I have ever been a part of! Erik Rutan did an amazing job on the production and the songs speak for themselves!
Producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, ex-MORBID ANGEL) added:
Recording with Steve and the guys on the new Warfather album has been fantastic! It has been a blast to be working on this monster album in the studio once again with my great friend and former band mate. The songs are heavy as hell and just outright awesome. We have some great tones and performances.

Enjoy at high volumes please! Support the underground!" comments guitarist Jeff Wilson.
Southern California's Ghoulgotha have unleashed their second full-length album, To Starve the Cross. The 10-track beast stands as a
masterpiece of atonal and dissonant death metal delivered straight from the warped mind of Wayne Sarantopoulos (Decrepitaph, Encoffination, et. al).
Angry Metal Guy befittingly called the album "ugly music for ugly times," that's "intentionally hard on the ears."
To Starve the Cross was mixed and mastered by Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studios with artwork by Mattias Frisk. Dark Descent will unleash this monster June 13 on CD and digital formats with vinyl treatment coming soon after.
Austrian extreme metallers BELPHEGOR are hard at work in Abtenau, Salzburg on new material for their currently untitled brand new studio album the follow-up to "Conjuring The Dead". The new CD will be released in April 2017 via Nuclear Blast.
Comments BELPHEGOR frontman Helmuth: "We've just finished the fourth rehearsal session. The process consisted of 13 exhausting, creative days in a row. Nine compositions took form and already sound massive.
"It's important to me that we get better, tighter, raise the dynamics, and have each musician develop his skills with his instruments to bring our sound to the next level. We've always done our own thing and continue to do so.
"The new, currently untitled album will be our most obscure and brutal one. It's the first time we've tuned our guitars to H5 and #A6, which is really low, and will add a new touch to our sound.
"We're forever on fire and ready for new challenges. Progress is experimentation and improvement. An honor this horror."

"House Of War", the new video from long-running Canadian metallers INFERNAL MAJESTY, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's upcoming album, "No God", due later in the year. A clip for the CD's title track will be released soon.
INFERNAL MAJESTY vocalist Christopher Bailey commented: "'House Of War' is a prophetic vision into the apocalyptic modernity awaiting human kind.
"We wanted to write a song and make a video that was relevant to the apocalyptic modernity we are marching towards. It is as much an observation as it is a prophetic declaration."
