UK death thrashers Arceye have released details for their upcoming sophomore album 'At First Light'. The album will be released worldwide on August 7th via Hostile Media.
Commenting on the album the band said: "This album we feel we have really trimmed the fat on our songwriting and made it the best it could be! If we didn't think that it kicked ass it didn't make the cut! We also stepped up the production value, recording the drums In Foel studios and working with Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Gamma Bomb) on the mix and master. The Meaning of 'At First Light' is a representation of where we felt we were as a band when we were writing the album. Since our last release we have gained two new members, both with a writing influence and we've developed more of a vision of the music we wanted to play."
'At First Light' is the follow up to Arceye's highly acclaimed debut album 'The Divide Between Chaos & Order' which saw the band appear in pages of Terrorizer and Metal Hammer and was hailed as "hard-hitting" and "balls out thrash."
The album art was created by none other than Craig Mackay of the band himself.
"The album artwork, title and first track tie in together as we wanted this to be our opening statement, with the theme running through the album. The idea behind the name/artwork is that the wolf climbing the mountain is always hungrier than the wolf on top. We feel we have gone through a rebirth as a band and this album is all about the climb to get us on to the next run of the ladder. Our Drummer Craig Mackay did all of the artwork for the album including painting the front cover and all the band portraits in the booklet."

The Brazilian band of Death Metal, Metacrose, discloses the cover of the album ``INTERRORGATE´´. This is the first conceptual work of the band, scheduled for release in the beginning of the second half of this year. The 10 tracks, all authorship of the band, possess written lyrics from questions that address topics such as the human condition, ethics and the malaises contemporary.
Curiosity The album's name is a neologism created from the merger of the word, ``INTERROGATE´´, of the language english with the word ``TERROR´´ of the portuguese language. The first term refers the lyrics in form of quest, between them Whats wrong with Killing? and How can I know who I am?. The second symbolizes the aspects tragic and grotesque of a determined vision of reality: fear, suffering and non-conformism in the face the pains in the world, as also feelings of aggression, of revolt, and the violence aesthetically sublimated in the compositions of the band. Graphic art and music production The Renowned cartoonist Edi Guedes, with several works recognized in the United States, signs the graphic creation. This is an added attraction to the band's fans and lovers of the ninth art. A meeting between the playfulness and violence, which translates in visual language the atmosphere of the disco - In it has of more far-fetched in sequential art. Lastly, the musical production is work of Victor Hugo Targino, which is among the most creative and competent brazilian producers of the heavy metal of the actuality.
France's avantgarde black metal outfit GLORIOR BELLI has inked a worldwide record deal with Agonia Records. Band's fifth full-length album, successor to "The Great Southern Darkness" from 2011, is set to be released in the fall of 2013.
Consequently climbing the ladder of innovation and artistic development, the French quartet managed to work out a very own sound and view in the often stiff frames found within the black metal genre. Descriptions such as "Avant-garde black metal bluesmen" (Pitchfork) or "bluesy doom-sludge" (Metal Sucks) are only the two sides of the same coin, that will reveal a new flip this autumn.
"We are absolutely thrilled to have the chance to work with Agonia Records and it's only fair given the efforts and determination of both Glorior Belli and Agonia Records into making genuine music that stands the test of time." - commented the band.
