Polish death metal blasphemers HERETIQUE will unleash their latest creation De non existentia Dei through Via Nocturna. The album will premiere on March 26, 2016.
The follow up to the 2012 debut Ore Veritatis entitled after the opus magnum of Kazimierz Łyszczyński (who was a Polish atheist philosopher in the 17th century) is an exceptional death metal record with some black metal influences. An album to challenge both the God and the World. A praise of free thought and independence from religious prejudice. An experiance liberating and enjoyable at the same time.
Spanish grime-laden merchants peddle in the art of blackened crust, taking forward the previously established template of black/thrash metal and giving it a new, wicked twist. It's like the spiking of an exciting albeit established drink (think Long Island Iced Tea) to make to nastier and more potent (more tequila), and this one sets a puke-worthy aka boss-standard for music of this ilk. Cendra hone their songwriting skills from their previous much-acclaimed album titled '666 Bastards' and write songs that are more coherent, structured and even memorable. The band have matured but their middle-finger-in-your-face attitude remains the same. You'd be smart not to mess with them or piss them off in any perceivable manner - now or in the future. Xtreem Music once again showcases its penchant for exploring music of all styles, and Cendra's recent releases are a perfect example of that. This is black/thrash/punk/crust of high calibre and you'd wanna check it out this instant before the band members come to know.

U.K.-based crust legends DISCHARGE announced their signing to Nuclear Blast late last year. After the release of their "New World Order" EP, the time has come to unleash their new studio album (their Nuclear Blast debut) on an unsuspecting world. It is titled "End Of Days" and will be made available on April 29.
The second track-by-track breakdown video for "End Of Days" can be seen below.
DISCHARGE commented: "So here it is, the 'End Of Days'... Fifteen brand-new tracks.
"The first day we entered the studio we kept hearing all over the media that there was a blood moon that night, and certain religious groups were reporting that it was the 'end of days.' It seemed a natural title for the album given the lyrical content of the songs and the state of the world today, so it stuck with us.
"Regression has been the basis of this album, opposed to 'progression.' We really cut it down to basics on this one, quite a few songs under two minutes long... we're all really pleased with it. Play loud!"
Swedish reformed death metallers CENTINEX are in the middle of recording their next full-length album and follow-up to 2014's comeback CD, "Redeeming Filth". Surprisingly reunited in 2014 after a nearly eight-year hiatus, the band dosen't want the fans to be kept waiting another near-decade. The new album is titled "Doomsday Rituals" and CENTINEX has revealed its cover artwork, made by Bahrull Marta of Abomination Imagery.
"Doomsday Rituals" is being recorded at Wing Studios with CENTINEX's guitarist (and DEMONICAL's vocalist), Sverker Widgren. As commented by the band's founder and mastermind, Martin Schulman: "Musically the album is a natural follow-up to 'Redeeming Filth'. Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early '90s Florida and Stockholm sound."
Connecticut-based hardcore/metal masters HATEBREED will release their new album, "The Concrete Confessional", on May 13 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The follow-up to 2013's "The Divinity Of Purpose" was produced by longtime collaborator Chris "Zeuss" Harris (ROB ZOMBIE, SUICIDE SILENCE, WHITECHAPEL) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, MEGADETH). The artwork was created by Marcelo Vasco (SLAYER).
Mumbai/India based Death Metal band DEATHFORGE streamed their new track online.Leaving material world is the 4 th in the series of the concept EP Amputated and amalgamated (releasing soon). It is when the body is breached by the alien being and the mind of the host is leaving it's primal state of humanity and is moving forward to a different dimension. We wanted to portray this transformation of the intricate designs happening inside the head through this song. The structure of the song narrates the interaction between the human and alien form. The action and reaction of the attack- resistance and revolt is tried to be captured here with the composition. Credits: Varun "Rust Hammer " Sharma - Vocals Jayram Karki - Drums Mike Poggione (of Monstrosity, Skinless) - Bass Akshay G Ramuhalli - All guitars. Words by Rust Hammer and composed by Akshay G Ramuhalli. Song streaming below :

"Winterbane" is taken from ABBATH's self-titled debut album, which was released on January 22 via Season Of Mist.
Sweden's lauded melodic death/doom metallers and Agonia Records recent signess, IN MOURNING, have revealed details surronding their anticipated new album. Entitled "Afterglow", the opus will be released on May 20th, 2016. The cover artwork has been prepared by Kristian Wåhlin (Bathory, Tiamat, Amorphis, Dark Tranquillity).
IN MOURNING commented: "The new album is called "Afterglow" and its story takes off from where "The Weight Of Oceans" ends. Its a bit more complex than our previous albums and it has got a bit of a different sound than the older ones, a bit more alive like a band and maybe not always as studio corrected as our earlier material. However, the foundation of the music is still what weve always done and the key elements are pretty much the same but with some new additions and a few new twists and turns of course".
According to U.K.'s Metal Hammer magazine, Greek extreme metal veterans ROTTING CHRIST will play in South Africa in July under an assumed name to appease religious protesters.
The band is scheduled to perform in Johannesburg on July 1 and Cape Town the following night. The shows are being organized by Witchdoctor Productions, the company that puts on the country's Witchfest event, which was the target of protests last year.
In an interview set to be broadcast on TeamRock Radio's "Republic Of Rock" show this Sunday, March 13, Witchdoctor promoter Shaughn Pieterse says: "What we're going through is what the metal scene dealt with in the late '80s and early '90s, with religious folks challenging them and trying to stop the shows because they disagreed with the opinions and messages of the bands.
"It started early last year with Witchfest 2015. In order to host an event you've got to get certain certificates from the council. Every time we made a move to do everything by the book, the councils were getting shot down by so-called Christians and religious protesters.
"Every time we had to move venue we lost the deposit and you keep haemorrhaging money. But you have to make the show happen because if you don't then they've won. You have to take quite a knock to show that they can't stop you.
"It's started again with BEHEMOTH and more so with ROTTING CHRIST. But we even accommodated that and spoke to the band and they will be playing in South Africa under an alternative name so as not to offend people in that sense. ROTTING CHRIST was maybe a little bit too far for some people; it's really in your face."
There is no word yet what name ROTTING CHRIST will perform under for the South Africa dates.
In a 1998 interview, ROTTING CHRIST mainman Sakis Tolis was asked if he still thought that ROTTING CHRIST was a good name for his band, which formed in 1987. "It's not a strange question... it's a pain in the ass for us, you know?" he replied. "Maybe this name doesn't suit our music very well now, but we keep it to avoid disappointing our old fans, the ones who have followed ROTTING CHRIST all these years, and on the other hand, I think metal music needs extreme names, and this way we show our indifference towards any religion. So we keep this name, and if someone won't listen to the band [because of the name], we won't give a shit about him."
German thrash metal pioneers ASSASSIN will release their new studio album, "Combat Cathedral", on May 20. The effort will be made available via Steamhammer/SPV worldwide on CD, limited-edition LP (500 copies only on red 180-gram vinyl + CD) and as a digital download. The cover art was created by Marcelo Vasco, who also worked with SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, SOULFLY and BORKNAGAR.
After founding member and vocalist Robert Gonella left ASSASSIN in 2014, new singer Ingo "Crowzak" Bajonczak joined the group and it turned out that he was the right choice for the band. From the first to the last note, the album contains loads of energy and ultra-heavy riffing, making it clear that ASSASSIN is still at the top of the list of German thrash metal bands.
Comments ASSASSIN guitarist Jürgen "Scholli" Scholz: "Like back in the '80s, the new album stands for thrash metal at its finest, but after the last album, 'Breaking The Silence', much more mature, developed and with a very fat production. Songs with 220- 240 bpm are not rare, same with groovy mosh parts, which are partially nested into each other and a lot of sticking refrains, which will animate you, to shout them along immediately together with our new singer Crowzak. The opener sums it up perfectly: ASSASSIN are 'back from the dead!'"
