Florida's heaviest Death Metal legend KILLING ADDICTION are about to see, 16 years after their latest release, a new CD coming out on XTREEM MUSIC!! "Fall of the Archetypes" includes 6 new songs plus 5 bonus which are the ones featured on that mega-rare split cassette release in 1994 under the name of "Dark Tomorrow". Both recordings makes a 11-song full-length release that will serve as a perfect link from their old and new stuff, pretty much in the same vein, but with way better performance and production.
KILLING ADDICTION plays a fucking heavy and brutal Death Metal blending elements that could remind to bands like SUFFOCATION, CARCASS, INCANTATION, BOLT THROWER, MORBID ANGEL... creating a unique sound that has characterized the band's style since their inception in 1988.
Later on, still undetermined, the band will see their debut album "Omega Factor" ('93) re-issued, also through XTREEM MUSIC, along with their previous "Necrosphere" [7"EP/'91] & "Legacies of Terror" [Demo '90] as bonus.
Release schedule for "Fall of the Archetypes" is planned for the first days of March 2010. In the meantime, please visit the band's official MySpace to listen a couple of new songs at: www.myspace.com/killingaddiction

The Canadian band Kataklysm’s new album title is determined. ’’ Heaven’s Venom’’ will be released in October 2010 from Nuclear Blast. The guitarist of the band Jean Francois Dagenais commented on the new album, ‘ This album is different from Prevail but there will be classic Kataklysm effects. There are some fast and dinamic parts but we also consider to make a melodic record. For band’s vocal Maurizio this album is very personal. Because of the hard times he had in his private life, his lyrics become more tough. So here comes a highly aggressive and tenacious album! Every time we push our selves to create harder songs but I’m sure that this one will be a good one. I’m going to handle the recordings as usual but for mixing, Tue Madsen from Denmark who has completed the bands line best with the ‘In The Arms Of Devastation’, will be helping us. So in the end it’s a ’winning’ team and Heaven’s Venom will be a strong album…’ By The way Canadian extreme metallers Kataklysm were honored recently at a performance in Stuttgart Germany, with a plaque commemorating their 15 year relationship with Nuclear Blast Records.
Oakland, California’s death masters Decrepit Birth, entered Sharkbite Studios with producer Zack Ohren and has started recording drums for their upcoming album ‘Polarity’ labeled Nuclear Blast. Guitarist Matt Sotelo commented on the new album, ‘We are happy to say that everything is going very smoothly! This studio is the best studio that we ever find the opportunity to work. With the help of the engineer Zack Ohren we start to work with setting up the KC’s drums and we are pretty sure that this will be our best album ever! The album’s concept is very special for us. The lyrics reflect on the world around us, visions of the future, the coming together of energy, and the balance of life both positive and negative side. We also believe that music and concepts are very tied together, so that the music embodies lyrical concept. It’s something we’ve always tried to do but this time it really feels right. We describe it as ‘death metal from the soul! ‘

Düsseldorf, Germany based Death Metal band DEBT OF NATURE have signed an agreement for the release of their forthcoming full-length ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’ through DEITY DOWN RECORDS (Netherlands).
Recordings, engineered by CARSTEN REHMANN (JAPANISCHE KAMPFHÖRSPIELE, UNCHALLENGED HATE) are scheduled to take place at CKB Studios (Essen, Germany) during February, the result of which will be mixed and mastered at ANDY CLASSEN’s Stage One Studio (KRISIUN, ASPHYX, BELPHEGOR, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, HOLY MOSES) in March. ‘CRUSH, KILL AND BURN’ should be ready for release around May of 2010.
Along with a brand new logo, DEBT OF NATURE introduces new drummer KEVIN ‘Kev’ SIEPMANN and female lead vocalist MASAE DAUSEND.
The band comments: ‘It's kinda cool to sign with a company that is really into music. Gerard of Deity Down records is not only a cool guy with a good taste, but even came down all the way from Breda to Düsseldorf, just to see us play live. That's pretty astonishing in a time where other labels just check the total hits on a band's myspace- or facebook-site to sign them. But that's definitely the same approach to music that we have and therefore we have the greatest respect for the label.’ (Marc)
’It's an amazing thing to be on a roster with great bands like Thanatos, Murder Therapy, Devious or Persistense. This is just the beginning - be prepared!’ (Marcus)
