The DE MORTEM ET DIABOLUM festival has recently announced three more bands for its second edition. Besides Finnish Black Metal might ARCHGOAT, Swedish VALKYRJA and also one highly receommended underground tip from Belgium, CULT OF ERINYES, have been confirmed.
UK death metal forerunners Horrified conjure up yet another imaginative albeit grotesque death metal epic after a remarkable debut in 'Descent Into Putridity'. Eschewing modern trends, Horrified re-open the portals to the glory days of old, summoning influences from the Scandinavian scene inhabited by referential bands like Dissection, Sentenced, Gorement, Desultory, At the Gates and Sacramentum, probing further into the classic and well-entrenched sharp melodies that are juxtaposing with twisted yet thematically coherent structures. Rife with soul-piercing tunes, Horrified on their new album go further in elucidating the ancient art form, giving it a new expression, colouring chaos with the brushstrokes of anger and determination, highlighted by the bright overlapping dabs of inevitable emotion. This is where the release succeeds - where most other bands of this ilk dabble in dry, austere brutality, Horrified create a sensational slice of music that has emotive depth, stirring rhythms, intricate songwriting, and more importantly, the elusive old school charm intact.
Polish death metal blasphemers HERETIQUE will unleash their latest creation De non existentia Dei through Via Nocturna. The album will premiere on March 26, 2016.
The follow up to the 2012 debut Ore Veritatis entitled after the opus magnum of Kazimierz Łyszczyński (who was a Polish atheist philosopher in the 17th century) is an exceptional death metal record with some black metal influences. An album to challenge both the God and the World. A praise of free thought and independence from religious prejudice. An experiance liberating and enjoyable at the same time.
Spanish grime-laden merchants peddle in the art of blackened crust, taking forward the previously established template of black/thrash metal and giving it a new, wicked twist. It's like the spiking of an exciting albeit established drink (think Long Island Iced Tea) to make to nastier and more potent (more tequila), and this one sets a puke-worthy aka boss-standard for music of this ilk. Cendra hone their songwriting skills from their previous much-acclaimed album titled '666 Bastards' and write songs that are more coherent, structured and even memorable. The band have matured but their middle-finger-in-your-face attitude remains the same. You'd be smart not to mess with them or piss them off in any perceivable manner - now or in the future. Xtreem Music once again showcases its penchant for exploring music of all styles, and Cendra's recent releases are a perfect example of that. This is black/thrash/punk/crust of high calibre and you'd wanna check it out this instant before the band members come to know.
After 2 albums and a presence to the mighty WACKEN OPEN AIR in 2008, INALLSENSES return to the scene with a new great EP titled "Checkmate" distributed on digital stores by Club Inferno Ent.

U.K.-based crust legends DISCHARGE announced their signing to Nuclear Blast late last year. After the release of their "New World Order" EP, the time has come to unleash their new studio album (their Nuclear Blast debut) on an unsuspecting world. It is titled "End Of Days" and will be made available on April 29.
The second track-by-track breakdown video for "End Of Days" can be seen below.
DISCHARGE commented: "So here it is, the 'End Of Days'... Fifteen brand-new tracks.
"The first day we entered the studio we kept hearing all over the media that there was a blood moon that night, and certain religious groups were reporting that it was the 'end of days.' It seemed a natural title for the album given the lyrical content of the songs and the state of the world today, so it stuck with us.
"Regression has been the basis of this album, opposed to 'progression.' We really cut it down to basics on this one, quite a few songs under two minutes long... we're all really pleased with it. Play loud!"
Swedish reformed death metallers CENTINEX are in the middle of recording their next full-length album and follow-up to 2014's comeback CD, "Redeeming Filth". Surprisingly reunited in 2014 after a nearly eight-year hiatus, the band dosen't want the fans to be kept waiting another near-decade. The new album is titled "Doomsday Rituals" and CENTINEX has revealed its cover artwork, made by Bahrull Marta of Abomination Imagery.
"Doomsday Rituals" is being recorded at Wing Studios with CENTINEX's guitarist (and DEMONICAL's vocalist), Sverker Widgren. As commented by the band's founder and mastermind, Martin Schulman: "Musically the album is a natural follow-up to 'Redeeming Filth'. Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early '90s Florida and Stockholm sound."
Connecticut-based hardcore/metal masters HATEBREED will release their new album, "The Concrete Confessional", on May 13 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The follow-up to 2013's "The Divinity Of Purpose" was produced by longtime collaborator Chris "Zeuss" Harris (ROB ZOMBIE, SUICIDE SILENCE, WHITECHAPEL) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, MEGADETH). The artwork was created by Marcelo Vasco (SLAYER).
Mumbai/India based Death Metal band DEATHFORGE streamed their new track online.Leaving material world is the 4 th in the series of the concept EP Amputated and amalgamated (releasing soon). It is when the body is breached by the alien being and the mind of the host is leaving it's primal state of humanity and is moving forward to a different dimension. We wanted to portray this transformation of the intricate designs happening inside the head through this song. The structure of the song narrates the interaction between the human and alien form. The action and reaction of the attack- resistance and revolt is tried to be captured here with the composition. Credits: Varun "Rust Hammer " Sharma - Vocals Jayram Karki - Drums Mike Poggione (of Monstrosity, Skinless) - Bass Akshay G Ramuhalli - All guitars. Words by Rust Hammer and composed by Akshay G Ramuhalli. Song streaming below :

Sweden's lauded melodic death/doom metallers and Agonia Records recent signess, IN MOURNING, have revealed details surronding their anticipated new album. Entitled "Afterglow", the opus will be released on May 20th, 2016. The cover artwork has been prepared by Kristian Wåhlin (Bathory, Tiamat, Amorphis, Dark Tranquillity).
IN MOURNING commented: "The new album is called "Afterglow" and its story takes off from where "The Weight Of Oceans" ends. Its a bit more complex than our previous albums and it has got a bit of a different sound than the older ones, a bit more alive like a band and maybe not always as studio corrected as our earlier material. However, the foundation of the music is still what weve always done and the key elements are pretty much the same but with some new additions and a few new twists and turns of course".
